Pygmy Marmoset
Its Amazing Adaptation:The real name for the Pygmy Marmoset is Cebuella Pygmaea. Pygmy Marmoset is a mammal. It lives in evergreen forests in the western Amazon basin in South America. It eats tree gum sap. The marmoset can spin its head 180 degrees to see predators, predators like birds, snakes and also wild cats.
Another interesting adaptation is that it run up to 40kmph from predators and for its main prey. Pygmy Marmosets have the adaptation to be light, to climb thin branches to get tree sap. Marmoset are the smallest monkeys in the world and their claws are very special, and have developed to climb trees. |
